What's a Fee Demo Project?

Fee Demo is short for "Recreation Fee Demonstration Program." It is a trial program designed to test whether recreation user fees collected on Federal Lands can provide enough money for operation and maintenance of facilities. Fee Demo authorizes at least 80% of user fees to be used to operate and maintain Palatki and Honanki. User fees at Palatki and Honanki will be used to stabilize prehistoric walls, to conserve ancient rock art, and to provide accurate interpretation to our visitors.
