Beautiful visitor center, very well done. Several recommendations: visit
either in the morning or late in the afternoon; lighting from the early
afternoon sun makes seeing (and photographing) the rock art difficult.
Bring binoculars and/or a telephoto lens, as many of the petroglyphs are
some distance away from the viewing trail.

Information on programs at the Puerco Ruins at summer
solstice, when the sun shines through a crack in the rocks to touch a spiral
petroglyph located here. Park rangers are present for about five days before
and after summer solstice to point out the solstice marker. You should
get there before 9 AM (MST).
